Red Chilli Chutney

INGREDIENTS
- 1 large red capsicum, chopped
- 1 large tomato, roughly chopped
- 2 teaspoon Just Foods Organic Crushed Garlic
- 1/4 cup lemon or lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (110g) caster sugar
METHOD
- Place capsicums in a frying pan and cook over a medium heat until it becomes soft.
- In a food processor, add capsicums and tomato and blitz until a thin sauce is formed.
- Transfer the sauce into a large saucepan. Add garlic, chilli, citrus juice, and salt and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour into sterilised jars and allow to cool before refrigerating.
Tip: If mixture is too runny, strain some of the liquid using a colander.
